FA SCORY – Copy of the SCORY RULES, and DOMESTIC RULES and changes have been emailed together with the LEAGUE HANDBOOK to all club secretaries. Rewording and changes have been highlighted and will be updated onto the league website as soon as possible following the AGM, Gavin read through the changes and asked all to please familiarise yourselves with the changes.

League Rule Updates & season start and end dates - Season starts 11th Sept 2022 - Ends 21st May 2023

Key changes to the Domestic Rules
No matches will be scheduled over the Christmas period or on Easter Sunday. Please expect to play on all other Sundays
Reporting of results is responsibility of both managers and must be done on the same day before 5pm on a Sunday and 8.30pm if midweek

Maximum number of player registrations per squad as follows:
5v5 = 10 players
7v7 = 14 players
9v9 = 14 players
11v11 = 16 players

For this season only, the Management team have agreed that for players/teams that were registered last season they will be able to register again. I.e., if an u7 team had 14 players registered with the league last season they can all re-register this season even though the league rules state a max of 10 players. The player MUST have played and registered last season with the league.

You can still only play the squad size plus 5 subs as per FA guidelines. If a registered player leaves and you are above the new league maximum numbers, you cannot replace the player. The only time you can add / replace more players is when your squad size falls below the max number of registered players.

Development matches are no longer being encouraged/supported by the League as some teams have abused the development match and are playing players longer than the FA guidelines. If a team wishes to have a ‘development/friendly’ match after the league match, Managers will need to mutually agree this.

KO times have altered slightly. Months of Sept, Oct, March & April - 9.30 to 2.30pm. Nov, Dec, Jan & Feb - 9.30 to 2.00pm

Pass back rule must be followed.

The league has also taken on board comments made around the cup competitions; we are currently looking various formats with the FA change for next season. All amendments can be found on the league website in the league handbook.

Balance sheet was verified by the accountant Alan Richardson, the League Secretary Gavin Logan, Chairman Brian Curry, and President John Neville. All clubs were informed if anyone present wishes to see receipts/paperwork to support the expenditure, please advise. One key area of concern is around the amount of league fines, this is due to clubs not attending league meetings, all clubs are reminded any member of your club can represent them, doesn’t need to be the secretary.
